We love engraving because it fits the way our pieces are meant to be worn, close to you, every day, and with meaning behind it. We focus on clean, crisp detail and layouts that look balanced on a small charm, so it still feels simple and wearable, not busy. Whether you’re adding a custom charm to a permanent bracelet, engraving a message for a necklace, or keeping it minimal with initials, we’ll help you choose something that looks great and feels like you.

This one is a favourite in our shop. We’re big dog people, and paw prints never get old. Whether it’s to celebrate your pup (or your cat), keep them close, or remember a best friend who’s no longer with you, a nose or paw print engraving is such a sweet, subtle way to do it. Clean, simple, and full of heart.

Fingerprints

Fingerprints are a really meaningful way to keep someone close, and they’re especially popular for couples too. We’ve done partner fingerprints on matching charms, or a single charm with a fingerprint that’s meant to be worn every day. It also works beautifully for family pieces and memorial jewelry. The result is always one-of-a-kind, because it’s literally their print.

Simple Text

Names, initials, dates, coordinates, or a short phrase that means something to you. This option is timeless and super wearable, and it works great on small charms when you want something clean and minimal.

How to get an engraved Link + Spark piece

1) Book your appointment

Book an appointment for the permanent jewelry piece you want (bracelet, anklet, necklace, etc.).

2) Add the engraving option

During booking, make sure to add the Custom Charm Engraving Add-On. That way we’ve got enough time built into your appointment to do it properly.

3) Prep your engraving info

Handwriting can usually be done completely at your appointment.
For paw prints, fingerprints, and similar image-based engravings, you’ll want to bring a clear image with you. The more contrast and detail, the better.
If you email your image ahead of time, it helps speed things up because we can have everything set up before you arrive.

At your appointment, we’ll walk you through all the available charms that can be engraved and help you pick the best size and shape for your engraving.

About our engraver

Clean detail, consistent results on small pieces

We use dedicated laser engraving equipment designed for fine, detailed marking on metal, which is exactly what you want for jewelry and small charms. Laser engraving gives us sharp lines and consistent results, even on tiny surfaces where text and detail can easily get lost.

Because charms are small (and often slightly curved), the setup matters just as much as the design. Our process is built around accurate placement and repeatability, so engravings land where they should, stay readable at charm size, and look clean and intentional. We also pay attention to contrast and layout so the finished piece looks great in real life, not just in a mockup.

For artwork-based engravings like handwriting, paw prints, and fingerprints, we prep the image so it translates well to a small engraving. That might mean cleaning up the photo, refining edges, and choosing a size that keeps the details intact without turning into a blur. The goal is always the same: an engraving that’s crisp, balanced, and made to be worn every day.
